Months have passed and lots of work has been done.
The pictures of the latest modules and the stories from my friends, colleagues and partners that have been conducting them in the last months still make me smile.
And finally my time comes again to give my contribution to the EUROASI project.
This time, not alone, but with my long time work and travel companion Luca.
Bali, Indonesia. Two modules in one, Financial Management and Visibility, new challenges, new adventures coming, a lot of interesting inputs, inspiration and new ideas.
And here we go.
Jakarta. City of contradictions. A sea of people in the streets, the neverending traffic, the timings always unsure.
Spent my first days there alone, in a comfortable room in a hotel on the 7th floor of a Shopping mall in Chinatown, having a late fast lunch in some of the Warong there around, and walking for kilometres to explore the city. Impressive. In its own way.
We spent the days in the capital city trying to give additional value and visibility to our project. And after not successful contacts with local Foundations, Organizations and Business Companies to find sponsorship, we finally managed.
We had the great chance to visit the Italian Institute of Culture, speak with the people working there, learn more about the Italian-Indonesian cooperation and set up bases for collaboration and partnership.
The visit to Radio Republik Indonesia was also a very big asset for us. We entered with not so much hope, but thanks to the Italian speaking Indonesian guy that works as manager of international programs, Hudry, we manage to guarantee a lot of visibility for EUROASI. Thanks Hudry and all ๐
Then, Bali. My second time. 10 days to be used effectively for the training, not sure about what to expect, but, once more, a success.
10 days, Day, Afternoon and Evening, working on our training sessions, to give to the local youngsters, a group of enthusiastic youth activists, the tools to manage the change in their community.
Myself, I think I had a much more difficult task. Finances were interesting for everyone as theyโre basic for any project and entity. But I think that during those days I managed to get the idea in the mind of all of them that Communication and Visibility are important (also because they help you a lot to get that money you want to manage effectively J ).
The days flew fast, and between a Mie Goreng and a Rendang, we reached the end of this last mobility for us. Now, we wait for our friends from Philippines and Indonesia to come in Europe.
See you soon guys ๐ It will be a pleasure again
