Humanitarian workers from the Board of Directors to Staff and Volunteers  are often faced with stress and demands of the community they served. Personally, I have experienced exhuastion at work, emotionally, physically and mentally, joining the EuroAsi Training has been very helpful.  I like the module on Human Resources especially. Taking  the test on personality and temperament was an eye opener. I was able to assess more my strength and weaknesses that are both helpful in the job. Meeting different people and sharing information with them were also beneficial. We had diverse participants in the training,  I have learned to connect with an Editor, Sports Enthusiast, Station Mannager Program Director of One Media, Photographer, Teacher, Resort Owner and Youth Volunteers . The best part is, we became friends!

We had activities like Job interviews  that we enjoyed the a lot.

Now, I am promoted as the Deputy Administrator of Philippine Red Cross Boracay Chapter and  with bigger responsibilities on my shoulder I am applying what I have learned on that module, dealing with diferrent staff, keeping them motivated and making sure that their work and done efficiently.   I am always thankful to EuroAsi for the experience and learnings I have acquired this past few months.

I have regain my confidence and has beeen more productive since I’ve been part of this training. Extending time to learn even after our work has been so worth it. Grazie EuroAsi!
